Small business website designLook like the business you already are. Online.

Most small businesses are online in pieces: a Facebook page someone made years ago, a Gmail address, no Google listing, and a website that was always going to be finished next month. We set the whole thing up in one go, so every place a customer looks tells the same story and points to the same next step: calling you, booking you or buying from you.

/ In plain terms

What does a small business need to be online?

A small business needs four things to be taken seriously online: a fast website that says what you do and how to contact you, a verified Google Business Profile so you appear in local search and on Maps, an email address on your own domain, and consistent social profiles. Together they are often called a business's online presence or digital identity.

Send us your address and we email you the three changes we would make first. Specific, free, no pitch attached.

Free, no obligation, no sales call unless you want one.

/ The tell

Find the sentence that describes your week.

The things you would already have noticed if this applied to you.

  • Customers ask if you have a website and you change the subject.
  • You do not show up on Google Maps when someone searches for what you do in your area.
  • Your email ends in @gmail.com and quotes sometimes land in spam.
  • Your Instagram, Facebook and website each have a different logo, phone number or opening hours.
  • Most of your work comes from referrals, and you want people who do not know you yet to find you too.

/ What lands in your hands

What you actually receive.

Concrete things, not a statement of intent. This is what is included in this service.

01

A website built to bring in enquiries

Five to eight pages that say what you do, where you work and how to reach you, with click-to-call, a contact or quote form, and booking if you need it. Fast on a phone, editable by you.

02

Domain and business email

Your domain registered in your name, and email on it (you@yourbusiness.com) set up with the records that keep it out of spam folders.

03

Google Business Profile

Created or claimed, verified, and filled in properly: categories, service area, hours, photos and services, so you can appear in local search and on Maps.

04

Social profiles that match

Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn set up or tidied up with the same name, logo, description and contact details as everywhere else.

05

Search basics from day one

Page titles, descriptions, a sitemap and Search Console connected, so Google can find and understand the site from launch.

06

Handover you can actually use

Every login in your name, and a short written guide to changing text, photos and hours yourself.

/ How it runs

Small Business Websites FAQ · reviewed

How much does a small business website cost?

Projects start from $1,500. The price depends on the number of pages, whether you need booking or online payments, and how much of the Google profile, email and social setup you already have. You get a fixed price in writing after a free call, before any work starts.

Do I own the website and the domain?

Yes. The domain, the hosting account, the email and every profile are registered in your name. If you ever stop working with us, you keep all of it.

Will I show up on Google?

We set up everything Google needs to find and understand your business: the site's search basics, a verified Google Business Profile and Search Console. How high you rank depends on your area, your competitors and reviews, so nobody can honestly promise a position. A complete, verified profile and a fast site are what give you a fair chance.

Can I update the website myself?

Yes. Text, photos, prices and opening hours can be changed without a developer, and we show you how before handover.

I already have a website. Can you just do the rest?

Yes. We can set up or fix the Google profile, email and socials on their own, or improve the site you have. If it needs a full rebuild, see our website redesign service.

Do you work with businesses outside the US?

Yes. We work remotely with businesses worldwide and can invoice in your currency.

Still not sure this is the one you need?

Describe the business problem rather than the technical solution. Mapping it to the right service is our job, and the call is free whether or not we end up working together.
